Airtel Got Airtel.com Domain Name

The Indian mobile operator Airtel has finally got control over the airtel.com domain name. Earlier the domain name was owned by Vodafone, and then it was put on the open auction. Someone purchased it through that auction, but now Airtel has got the ownership of this domain name with the help of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

According to CellPassion, A 21-year-old Indian boy Ramandeep Singh had won the airtel.com domain name, and tweeted to sell it to Airtel. But Airtel followed the legal path, and filed a case in Arbitration and Mediation Center.
